Lycian 1250 KB
DATA SHEET
The Lycian 1250 KB is a 1,200 Watt quartz followspot suitable for high definition production. It was developed as a joint project between Lycian, and Broadway lighting designer Ken Billington, to answer the need for a cost effective, compact, high output front of house followspot. The fixture operates at 80 Volts AC, a feature that mitigates the appearance of flicker in high definition recordings.
With a standard color temperature of 3250 degrees Kelvin, the 1250 KB requires no additional color correcting gels to render it suitable for most camera configurations. It features a two level variable optical system as well as a heavy duty nichrome iris and a standard gobo slot. There are independently controlled vertical and horizontal shutter controls for optimal beam cropping. The 1250 KB features a six-frame self cancelling mid-ship color changer and a full twelve feet of AC line cord. The fixture weighs approximately 114 pounds without the stand and yoke.
