Britelight 571

The most compact of the Xenotech Britelight series is the 571 portable systems, a compact, lightweight, variable output power searchlight system, designed with maximum versatility and portability in mind. The system has been engineered specifically to withstand the rigors of daily use in motion picture production, rental, and other high demand searchlight applications.

The lamp head optical system utilizes a unique 1000 watt short-arc xenon lamp and a precision high efficiency short focal length electroformed  parabolic reflector to produce an
intense beam of collimated, daylight-balanced light. The optical system also incorporates a motorized focus mechanism that allows the beam angle to be adjusted from the lamp head, ballast, or from a remote location when using the optional remote control system.
The lamp head combines extensive sound absorbing and vibration dampening to maintain a minimum sound level. Like our high wattage searchlight systems, the Britelight 571 globe interface allows the globe to be serviced from the front of the lamp with just the removal of the front lens holder.

The lamp head yoke terminates in a standard 1-1/8" pin, allowing the use of all stands, hanging, and mounting devices configured for this size pin. This lamp head's small size makes it perfect for indoor and outdoor applications with size and weight restrictions, while still requiring the intense beams of collimated light that only a xenon searchlight can provide.

The Britelight 571 electronic ballast is small and lightweight, using specialized switch mode power supply technology developed specifically to operate xenon short-arc lamps. The ballast input is configured to operate on 120 VAC at 15 amps and can be plugged into a standard wall outlet. A 220 VAC version is also available.

The ballast employs a special control circuit that allows the output power to be adjusted anywhere between 500 and 1000 watts. The ballast also uses auto-strike circuitry to ignite the lamp when power is applied to the system. The Britelight 571 electronic ballast's compact size, light weight, and flexibility of control configuration makes it ideal for situations in which the ballast and lamp head must be in close proximity to each other or in which it is desirable to hide or disguise the location of the light source.
