Controlling a Mark 5 Automated 7k

Note: These steps can be found in the user manual for this product.

1) The Command Channel needs to be set at a value of 235 and the Activate Channel needs to be set at a value of 255 (P. 42 of manual) Command is channel 11 and Activate is channel 12.

2) Hold both for at least one second and then release the values to 0 (a snap change in value, not a fade). The lamp will strike if the Ignition mode is also set to Manual Immediate in the setup (P. 116 of manual)

3) These are the default settings for Factory Default 1 (on the fixture) (P. 24, P. 68)

4) These steps would be most easily accomplished on a GrandMA via a Macro
